The Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao expressway is roughly the original Beijing-Zhuhai expressway. It is a capital of the capital, radial country, and is coded as G4 in the national expressway network. G4 is an expressway linking Beijing and Guangzhou, Zhuhai, Hong Kong, and Macau, and other important cities in the south. It is China's major north-south traffic artery. Traveling through Hebei, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, and Guangdong across China's north and south, the G4 has a total length of approximately 2,285 kilometers. The lanes on each road segment are different.
